10 Weeks Before Your Wedding: I send a questionnaire to get all your details, and we work on the day of timeline for photos.
8 Weeks Before Your Wedding: Your final payment is due.
2 Weeks Before Your Wedding: We confirm the details of your timeline.
Your Wedding Day: I follow your timeline as your day unfolds.
3-4 Weeks After Your Wedding: Edited images are revealed via your online viewing gallery.
8-10 weeks After Your Wedding: Your album design is emailed to you to review and we place orders for prints, canvases and other items.
12 weeks After Your Wedding: Your wedding album arrives. Most of your other printed items should already be in your hands.

SHOW YOUR LOVED ONES HOW IT ALL BEGAN. | Engagement sessions add so much to the story of who you are as a couple right now, and they’re an ideal way to become more comfortable in front of my lens before your wedding day. Take the stress out of location scouting. Almost all of the images you view in my portfolio from engagement sessions were taken on my personal property; over 50 acres on Lake Sam Rayburn in East Texas. Choose from rolling pasture, to trees with Spanish Moss, to the Pineywood forest and lake front beaches. This is an experience which is truely different than you have ever seen before. Raw nature and your love in beautiful harmony. Or opt for a more formal city-scape or location of your choice. Formal or informal, images from your engagement session are beautiful additions to your wedding collection, and also make a wonderful signing book. They help to craft the whole story, and can even be used for save-the-date cards, invitations or thank you cards.

MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS TO YOUR WEDDING DAY. There is something about holding a photograph in your hands. It connects you physically to the feelings of a time and place that an image on a screen can’t replace. That’s why your wedding album is so important. It is a tangible link to your wedding day. Digital files definitely have their place, but a beautifully crafted fine art album is a permanent heirloom you will enjoy, share and pass down — a meaningful connection to your wedding day that becomes more cherished each year. 

THE EASIEST PART OF YOUR WEDDING PLANS. | Let’s talk — on the phone, over email, or even zoom — I’m flexible. We’ll chat about your wedding day, confirm your date, and discuss all the fun details. I’ll show you examples of beautiful custom wedding albums and other items that can become your cherished wedding day heirlooms. Together, we’ll select the perfect package for your wedding. Once we confirm the details, I’ll prepare your contract. After you return your signed contract and the $1000 retainer fee, I’m officially your wedding photographer!

A SMOOTH FLOW TO YOUR SPECIAL DAY. | Memorable weddings don’t just happen. They take a bit of organization. 
 GETTING READY: THE BRIDE & GROOM 1.5 to 2.0 hours. Plan for some additional time for HAMU photos, and if you’re planning a “first look”.
THE WEDDING CEREMONY 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. The length of your ceremony may vary widely. Afterward, allow more time for formal portraits (if planned) to allow your guests to head to the reception.
FORMAL GROUP & FAMILY PORTRAITS 30 minutes to 1.0 hour. Formal portrait timing can vary widely depending on group size and family/group combinations.
WEDDING PARTY & THE NEWLYWEDS 20-50 Min.  Timing can depend largely on the venue, size of the bridal party and variety of poses.
YOUR RECEPTION 2.0 to 6.0 hours. Your first dance, cutting the cake, dancing guests, friends and family sharing your joy. Remember. Your wedding day is unique, and planning together ensures you don’t miss a minute of this special time in your lives.

SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE. | The dress. The rings. The cake. The bouquet. These, and all the other visual details of your wedding, are small but oh-so-meaningful expressions of all that is unique about you. They are the fine points that distinguish you as a couple, and form the visual texture of tender memories. I will document them with care.

ABOUT MY WEDDING ALBUMS These albums come in linen or leather and are beautifully crafted with lay-flat pages and Japanese bookbinding. They are designed in house and you will communicate your needs directly with us. This is a seamless process of art and design and we customize the albums to compliment your wedding photos in the best way possible. 

Clients can expect to receive approx. 100 photos per hour of coverage. So if you have 8 hours of coverage, you will receive roughly 800 final, fully edited photos. We take thousands more (usually around 3500-5000 per wedding day) but only choose the highest quality image to deliver to you so you aren't sorting through missed focus, awkward faces or blinking type images. 

Yes! Yes! Yes! Sarah lives in Deep East Texas, but shoots the majority of her weddings in Houston and Dallas. Travel 3 hours (135 miles) or less from Lufkin, TX is complimentary. Coverage is available wherever you like. Destination weddings will be priced separately.

Are there any other fees added to the packages? Just Texas state tax! We always stay transparent and upfront about all things business.
 Do you offer military discounts? Yes, 10% off any collection as a thank you for your or your future spouse's active duty service.

How far in advance do you usually book? Generally between 8-15 months in advance. It’s best to book sooner rather than later.
How long does it take to receive our photos? For the wedding, you will receive your entirely edited collection within 4 weeks! For sessions it will take only 2 weeks. The fastest in the industry!
